Michael and I recently went on our first date without kids, since we moved here! Needless to say it was long overdue and much enjoyed. We tried this great little spanish tapas style restaurant, Cafe Malaga., in historic downtown McKinney.
Ya'll. It was so good.
I had the prosciutto wrapped asparagus, organic sauteed spinach with pine nuts and garlic, and the chicken piri piri. It was all amazing! Although I would have gladly accepted Taco Bueno if it meant that I got a dinner alone with my man.
Big thanks to my amazing friend Becky, for babysitting :)
I loved being able to walk around everywhere, and we found plenty of places for photo ops.

The birthday madness has already started, and Abigail had her first birthday party of the school year last week. It was a "rockstar" theme, complete with mani's/pedi's/up-do's/make-up/dress-up/runway show/and dance performance.
Yeah...that is my kid.
The ridiculously fabulous one, sporting her sunglasses at night. Love her.
Of course this has my wheels spinning about her birthday that's coming up here in a couple months. Thank the good Lord for pintrest, it keeps my ideas organized and grounded so I don't forget the things I've already planned!
