Oktoberfest - kiddie style.

After missing out on the Addison Oktoberfest last weekend, we decided to load up and head out to the one in McKinney yesterday. Just me, two kids, a puppy, and our GPS.

(Actually...I got there with no problem for once! I'm shocked and impressed with myself.)

We started out at the weenie dog races, in which poor Josie failed miserably. I didn't have enough hands for a picture, seeing how I Single-Mom'd it out there, but believe me it was Cute.
Imagine it looking something like this:

Except there were hay-bail lanes instead of little trap door lane things...but you get the picture.

The loss sure didn't break her spirit, she was like a celebrity out there. Every man, woman, and child that we passed just had to pet the "tinniest weenie dog they had every seen." She ate it up.

After the races we headed over to the face painting booth, where we stood in line for a whopping 35 minutes. Thankfully it was shaded and the kids were entertained by the live music and mass amount of people.

Jax went first and needed "soopah man" on his cheek, which he sat SO STILL for. Very proud.

(it actually looked really good for about 15 seconds, then he smeared it. Duh.)

Then it was Abigail's turn, who decided to get a cat face

I tried to get them to take a good little picture together with their faces painted...

We settled for some funny ones instead :)

......................

And before I forget...have you ever seen to little shoppers so cute in all your life??

No big deal...just picking up some groceries at Market Street with his girlfriend on a Thursday morning :)

{They are too stinking cute together!}

We were picking up some muffins and fruit for our play date the next morning, which we hardly got any pictures of, except this one.

They all had a good time, as usual :)

Happy Sunday!
