Christmas time...1 month later.

Well, it's January 19th, nearly 1 month after Christmas. I would say it's about time for my Christmas update, wouldn't you?

This Christmas was different for us in many ways. This was our first Christmas to ever be away from our extended family. While we missed them dearly, it was special for us to spend our first Christmas in our new home, and to just relax and stay in our PJ's all day. I was still dealing with the physical parts of losing the baby, and Michael was working 6-11 hour days a week, so the rest was really nice!

We went to our church's Christmas Eve candle light service

Then came home to decorate cookies for santa!

Daddy read Christmas stories to them before bed, and before Santa got there to set up their gifts and fill their stockings. Abbie knows the whole santa thing is pretend, but she loves playing along :)

Christmas morning is so hard to get good pictures of, and it's hard for me to remember to take pictures because I want to be in the moment with them. But we did our best.

It was such a nice Christmas, probably my favorite to date! I just loved being at home with my family and not being so rushed going from house to house for a change.

And let me give a shout out to my husband, who did AMAZING work on my Christmas list this year!

My latest edition to my Pandora bracelet. A baby carriage for the baby we lost, and for the baby that we will (Lord willing) have. So sweet!

Toms. Love them. We all ended up with grey on accident, ha! Except Abbie, who went with the silver glitter to match Mommies other pair.

Yummm!

This was the sweetest thing! Michael took Abbie to pick this out, then had her record all the funniest things. Possibly the best gift ever!
