six and a half

Today was Abbie's half birthday...and we celebrated accordingly

ColdStone ice cream cupcakes, of course!

And oh, how yummy they were.

There were so many more photo opportunities, but we didn't catch them seeing as how my camera died, in true Brittany fashion.

For dinner we hit up chick-fil-a, which we LOVE on Tuesday's, since little one's eat free.

I'm glad to see that somebody made it in their mouth...because someone else I know had no such luck

Ha!
Ketchup.
On his head.
Heaven forbid I run and get a napkin...no, no.
I run in get my camera.
Obviously, the better choice.
Maybe next time he will--oh I don't know--leave the packet on the table? Instead of squeezing the life out of it only to get it in his hair, and the chair, and the chair behind him.

The other great thing about Chick-fil-a on Tuesdays is the fantastic balloon animals!

He usually does 1 color per balloon animal but he must have really liked Abbie since he decided to give her a whopping 3-colors complete with drawn on eyes! Or maybe he thought it was her real birthday as opposed to her half birthday...
maybe because her mom put her "birthday girl" outfit on her.
Maybe. ..
Not important...
Ehem...

Anyhow

As always, it was two dollars very well spent

Happy half birthday, my sweet girl!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

On another pretty EXCITING note...I won something kind of awesome.

The ipad 2!!

Our bank opened a new branch a few months ago and they held an ipad drawing for their grand-opening. I put my name in the drawing one day, pretty much forgot about it, until last week when I got a phone call saying "Brittany? I have some news for you..."
When she told me I said "Are you serious? Shut up!" and then promptly apologized because I couldn't believe that I just told a very nice lady that I didn't even know that wanted to give me something awesome to "shut up." Luckily, she laughed, and understood, and didn't revoke my prize for fowl language.

Even tho I technically won it, it is Michael's father's day/birthday gift, seeing as how that is what he wanted anyway. It all worked out nicely. Thanks Abilene Teachers!

xoxoxo
