Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful.

Very thankful for this guy right here

He has been gone a lot lately with work and business trips, and it makes me all the more thankful when he is here. I'm not sure that I could even live without him, and am more than thankful for him (and the fact that he puts up with me and all my craziness...)

and I am oooooh so thankful for this...

That is right folks...we are in a big boy bed now!! And we have a big boy room to go along with it.

Paci gone...CHECK.

Sleeping in big boy bed....CHECK

Registered for college...well maybe not yet but he will be before I know it!

I'm thankful for this thoughtfulness

My sweet husband surprised me with both of these on Monday, the flowers while he was out of town and the picture after he got home. The picture is supposed to be a reminder for me that it is ok to just "drop" everything and enjoy life! Such a good man to think of such a sweet way to surprise me.

And I'm thankful for all the sweet birthday wishes this week. Thanks :)

But most of all...

I am thankful for this great gift. I am thankful for this season of Lent to prepare my heart and mind for the death and resurrection of the one who has never and will never let me down. The one who paid the biggest price. I am thankful for Easter and all that it brings with it. 

And just so you know that totally includes bright colors, pretty dresses, cute baskets, and lots of egg hunts. I love this part of Easter too!
